Strategy and Business Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Strategy and Business Analyst for our office in Chiampo (VI). The Strategy and Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support the company’s strategic decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and business performance. The Strategy and Business Analyst will work closely with management to identify growth opportunities, optimize processes, and enhance the competitiveness of the Group’s companies. This position reports directly to the CFO and functionally to the CEO.

Responsibilities and activities:

  • Support the strategic planning process through the collection and analysis of relevant information.
  • Collaborate with various departments and business units to gather useful information and data for strategic analysis.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Perform constant and frequent analysis of warehouse movements, identifying anomalies, incorrect information, making necessary corrections or updates, and preparing monitoring reports.
  • Periodically verify the order portfolio, analyzing unfulfilled orders and supporting the sales team in understanding the reasons for shipment delays.
  • Have proficiency in cost accounting, assisting the administration department with correct cost allocation by cost center/business unit and ensuring monthly financial closures.
  • Collect and organize data from the production MES (Manufacturing Execution System), proposing to synthesize them into KPIs shared with departments and management.
  • Manage the entire budgeting process and quarterly revisions throughout the fiscal year.
  • Consolidate the management data of controlled companies to prepare a consolidated income statement for the group.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve business processes and increase operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a role such as strategic analyst, controller, business analyst, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Proactive and initiative-driven approach.
  • Curiosity and independence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate analysis results both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt quickly to changes.
