Viu Hotel

The exteriors are perfectly integrated in the landscape of the new public square, the views of the city varied. Viu Hotel was designed by the Arassociati Architecture Studio: a modern structure consisting of uniform volumes and materials.

The main external materials are glass, metal and wood (used as cladding in the form of layered elements): materials that have been totally adapted to adhere with modern eco-sustainable construction criteria. A further compositional element integrated into the architecture is the vertical greenery, which envelops and characterises the façades.

Inside, the rooms are embellished with Port Laurent, a black marble with golden veins – ideal for luxurious and elegant settings – and Fior di Pesco Carnico^®, a marble that comes in light shades, ranging from white to grey to light pink, with different vein patterns that make it highly unique. Port Laurent and Fior di Pesco Carnico^® (of which we own the only existing quarry in the world) have been expertly used for all of the solid washbasins in the bathrooms and for the panelling of the bathtubs and showers in the suites.

Among the public areas on the ground floor, in addition to the spacious halls with reception and relaxation areas, Viu Hotel boasts a gourmet restaurant and the spaces of the “Bulk” bar – a homage to the cultural centre that once existed in the neighbourhood – which blend comfortable contemporary luxury with a lively and informal international setting.
